Breakfast seminar on Measurement Practice in Local Government Learning and Development
Why invest in workforce development - what measurable difference
will it make to your operational & strategic targets?
Did you choose the most effective solution to deliver
measurable business impact & results?
What productivity improvement did you deliver from
your last training programme, are you on the right track?
Do you get value for money?
Are you able to report the improvements in
performance and impact outcomes from your projects?
Last year, abdi supported a group of MBA students from the University of East Anglia by engaging them on a project to research and analyse the current state of measurement practice for Learning and Development investments across local authorities in East Anglia.
Facilitated by Jane Massy, the UK's most experienced ROI practitioner who has been working as an evaluator in the domain of learning and development since 1993, this seminar will present the results and facilitate a discussion between Learning and Development, HR and Organisational Development managers in local government on the current state of measurement and evaluation of investments in L&D and performance development projects.
You will be presented with L&D impact evaluation industry best practices and will have an opportunity to hear and share your views on how HR, L&D and Organisational Development professionals within local authorities are dealing with increased pressure to demonstrate the value of organisational investment in workforce development and performance improvement and how to ensure investment in people demonstrates investment value rather than simply being counted as an expense.
