JANE MASSY

Jane Massy leads the company and directly oversees strategic development, marketing and finance as well as facilitating the abdi ROI Evaluator workshops. She is also the developer and course leader on the new Postgraduate Certificate in Impact & Performance Measurement. All staff report directly to her. Jane has facilitated ROI Foundation and Evaluator workshops for the British Council in the UK and Turkey.

Jane also continues to act as an expert evaluator and rapporteur for the EU RTD framework programmes (currently FP7) for large scale research IST projects in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning and workforce development and performance improvement. These projects average 10 partners combining HEIs, research institutes, public and private large organisations and small niche companies. The EU investment in these research projects ranges from €5-25 million over 3-4 years.

As a reviewer, Jane’s role is to work with 2-3 other experts over the lifetime of the research project monitoring and evaluating the performance of the consortium and the results of the project. She has consistently been invited to review an average of 3-4 projects every year for almost twenty years.

Reviews consist of deliverable reading, consortium review meetings; occasional onsite visits especially to partner sites where results are piloted and the preparation and submission of review reports agreed by the review team. In over 50% of reviews, Jane has consistently been asked by the Commission to act as rapporteur because of the quality and clarity of her reports provided to the Commission and project consortia.
