Since 2007 abdi has worked and assisted a number of public, private and third sector organisations the world over by enhancing their internal capabilities as well as assisting in embedding robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure that any investment in human capital & capacity building projects delivers maximum impact and positive ROI.

The abdi recommended approach is now being adopted worldwide by companies in a wide range manufacturing and service sectors, public sector bodies and authorities, not-for-profit and international development bodies.

The common factors

  • All organisations need to justify their expenditure in terms of the impact it achieves.
  • Most projects and programmes are driven by the performance and behaviour of employees and stakeholders.
  • Learning and development is rarely rigorously evaluated in terms of its impact.
  • Initial motivation and buy-in are rarely sufficiently accounted-for.
  • Where evaluation does take place, it is largely summative, and therefore inefficient as a driver of improvement.

The abdi ROI recommended approach is designed for the business of work. When applied well, it is a strong driver of improvement.

Please see below some of our client testimonials.

The course has provided us with the best knowledge, skills and tools for determining the real ‘Return On Investment’ (tangible and intangible) for projects and programmes.

Adopting the abdi ROI recommended approach will enable us to ensure that all investments in people will be planned, developed and delivered with business/ organisational/impact outcome objectives in mind.

For the very first time we will be able to carry out actions which will provide us with extremely accurate cost benefit analysis and/or return on investment (both in terms of value for money and satisfaction). The courses were exceptionally relevant to our roles and we would certainly recommend them to others.

The course(s) were intense and loaded with very relevant information, models, templates and application exercises. Despite the volume, I found that I could easily apply the learning from each day immediately in the next. Challenging and massively fruitful – I have acquired some excellent tools for my employer to utilise in the quest for value.
